Endometrial surface

Endometrial surface

View from above and from the side of the endometrial surface show the dome-shaped elevation of the implanted embryo. A slow localized seepage of blood at the border of the embryo produced a clot which spreads a short distance upon the unaffected endometrium. Photographed in 70 percent alcohol.
