Germ disc

The section passes through the thickest part of the germ disk. Below it the front wall of the umbilical vesicle is cut tangentially on the right side. There is an apparent blending between the endoderm and mesoderm. The umbilical vesicle cavity (Y. S. Cav.) extends into the left side of the section. Section 443.
