Why should you complete this free workshop?

To better understand the link between prenatal and lifelong health
Scientists are finding that many well-known chronic illnesses are linked to certain dietary deficiencies and/or exposures to harmful substances during pregnancy. Join the growing number of educators learning about this extraordinary and pivotal research.

To make an impact on public health
When educators like you reach students early and often with prenatal development education, you will help improve the lifelong health of current and future generations.

To learn how to use our curricular resources
EHD offers an extensive array of free, customizable teaching tools at www.ehd.org. Used in tandem with our award-winning science documentary, The Biology of Prenatal Development, they provide educators and their students with a visual appreciation of early human development, an understanding of the dangers of the use of harmful substances, and the promotion of lifelong health.

To receive continuing education credit
Completion of EHD's Teacher Training Workshop qualifies educators in the state of Texas, and some Florida school districts, for one hour of continuing education credit. Wherever you are, check with professional development officials in your district to see whether you can receive credit for this teacher training session.
